FAQ - The Enchanted Needle

Do embroidered garments require special care?
Not really.  We recommend that you wash in warm to cool (NOT hot) water and dry on a warm to cool setting in your dryer (drying on high can cause the embroidery to pucker).  If you use bleach, use one suitable for colored clothing.  If the garment has Swarovski crystals on it, wash inside out.

How do you charge?
We charge for the garment, plus embroidery at $1.00 per 1,000 stitches.  Our minimum charge is $5.00 for up to about 8,000 stitches, which covers most corporate logos, monograms on shirts, blouses, napkins and so forth, and some stock designs.  Larger monograms on towels, shower curtains, and so forth are priced by stitch count.

What about setup fees?
For corporate logos that we have digitized for you, we pass on what it costs us, generally $50-75 depending on size and complexity.  For large orders we waive that charge.  If you don’t have a logo, or do not want to invest to have us digitize it for you, we can set up lettering (with or without a stock design) in any of the fonts we own at no charge.

We do not charge a setup fee for lettering or monograms in one of the 200+ fonts we own.  We also do not charge setup fees for stock designs that we own.

Do you have minimums?
No.  We want our products to be affordable for individuals and small businesses, and we welcome your small order!  Bear in mind, though, that if it’s a logo that we have to match, we will have to add a setup fee. Once set up we keep it on file so you can order it again and not have to pay a set up fee.
